About Miller Wey

Miller Wey is an American who writes and happens to live in Shanghai.  A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Miller graduated from Loyola Marymount University in L.A. with degrees in Screenwriting and English and moved to China in 2008.  After two and a half years living and working in Ningbo, he made the two-and-a-half-hour move north to Shanghai.  Since joining H.A.L. in late 2010, Miller has assisted in running events; curated content on Haliterature.com; run writing workshops as well as the monthly GROUPTH!NK writers’ meetings; edited H.A.L.’s short story collection Middle Kingdom Underground; performed at literary events in Chengdu, Shanghai, and Suzhou; and photographed events for H.A.L. and associated groups.  His writing can be found on Haliterature.com.
